The answer is No. “Class 12 exams are important and will not be cancelled at any cost. It will happen once the pandemic situation gets over,’ answers the state education minister, Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi to reporters, after his meeting with state education department and health officials. Hence, the class 12 exams will happen only after the covid cases in the state declines.
The Class 12 Public exam was supposed to be held in the month of May and end by June. But due to the rise of covid cases in the state, the previous ADMK government headed ministry postponed the exams scheduled in May. But now, the state minister confirms that there will be no cancellation of class 12 exams and there will be delays.
On other hand, there has been a rising demand from the students to cancel the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021. When the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) postponed the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 last month, the board notified that decision on the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 will be taken after a thorough review of the COVID-19 situation in the country. As of now, there has been no confirmation from the CBSE regarding the cancellation of the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021.
